The Solution
Valimo Mobile Signature Service Center (MSSC) enables communications with a wide range of current and future mobile signature creation devices (MSCDs), allowing mobile operators to simplify their infrastructure.
The product enables a mobile operator or service provider to cater for their customer's messaging needs for both secure communicatins - as required for mobile signatures and WPKI, as well as the reliable distribution of notification, status and alarm messages.
Business Benefits
For mobile operators the Valimo MSSC complements the incumbent OTA system. For other service providers it functions as a self-sustained messaging hub with connections to SMS-Cs and messaging services. Other benefits include:

Valimo Mobile Authentication Client (VMAC)
The Challenge
Mobile operators and SIM vendors require a simple PKI / mobile signature client application concept, which is easy to implement, available to all parties and does not require the deployment of a dedicated OTA system.
The Solution
Valimo Mobile Authentication Client (VMAC) offers a generic solution, which is:
- end-user friendly
- available as an implementation recommendation to all SIM vendors
- OTA server-vendor independent
VMAC is designed for encrypted communications between a SIM card, the Valimo Mobile Signature Service Center (MSSC) and a third-party system. It thus provides transport security and end-to-end encryption options.
VMAC supports the generation of digital signatures inside the SIM card. An implementation of VMAC residing on a SIM card enables any GSM phone to use mobile signature services.
