Matti Rusi joins Valimo Wireless as CEO
Matti’s arrival considerably strengthens Valimo’s managerial expertise

Matti Rusi has been named CEO of Valimo Wireless Ltd. Mr. Rusi comes to Valimo from Basware Corporation where he has most recently been the Senior Vice President responsible for Global Marketing, Product Marketing and North American operations. Previously Matti Rusi has been the head of Basware’s Global Operations and country manager in Finland, the Benelux countries and in the US. Mr. Rusi was a member of the Basware Management Team reporting to the CEO.

“Matti Rusi’s experience has been an important factor for appointing him. His leadership will enable Valimo to continue its expansion path while ensuring that product development and customer operations will cope with the increased delivery demands. Matti played a decisive role in shaping Basware’s operation for making the transition from a private company to a publicly listed enterprise ,” continues Ben Wrede, Chairman of the Board and representative of Atine Group Oy.

Meet Valimo at the EFMA Convention in Paris on 13.03.2008 - 14.03.2008. The European Financial Management & Marketing Association holds its 30^th convention under the theme “Leadership in retail finance, driving value creation”.
