Mobile phones the obvious choice for controlling Digital Identities
A Consult Hyperion whitepaper puts forward arguments for considering electronic identities as a public utility and the mobile phone as the ideal device for enabling individuals to control it.

Neil McEvoy, director of Consult Hyperion, has written a paper on e-ID as a public utility for the eema Annual Conference 2007
co-organised with ENISA held during June in Paris, France.

It covers several aspects that an e-ID scheme might have in order to become a part of the fabric of society. It also features a discussion on what the ideal device for enabling individuals to control their e-ID is:
