Valimo Demonstrates Multiple Solutions in Radiolinja’s WPKI Launch

Demos are built on Radiolinja’s WPKI infrastructure and include several complementary products and partner solutions.

March 20, 2002 – Valimo Wireless, a Finnish security software company, announced today that it has developed several solutions and proof-of-concepts to be presented in Radiolinja’s WPKI (Wireless Public Key Infrastructure) launch event in Espoo, Finland.

The demonstrated solutions and business models are based on Radiolinja’s WPKI infrastructure and Valimo Validator, Valimo’s transaction management and validation product, which together enable easy and fast service development and integration for mobile and on-line services needing strong PKI-based user authentication and transaction validation.

At the same event, some of Valimo’s partners will be presenting their own products which have been integrated to use Valimo Validator and Radiolinja’s WPKI infrastructure for user authentication. These partners and products include Baltimore Technologies and AtBusiness’s CRM solution.

"Radiolinja has always been very innovative and a fast mover when developing new services and business ideas in the mobile operator arena." comments Jarkko Elonen, CEO of Valimo. "For us, this is an important opportunity to show how Valimo and Valimo’s products can help content and service providers to easily start using the WPKI infrastructure offered by a mobile operator.", Elonen continues.

"Key benefit of open standards for companies developing secure mobile services and applications is the ability to utilize the best products and technologies from the leading vendors. Several implementation examples shown today proof that Valimo Validator can be easily integrated with different types of applications." comments Mikko Saarela, Program Director m-Commerce at Radiolinja.
