GlobalSign and Valimo partner to expand their mobile security services
Companies announced a strategic partnership agreement

Brussels, September 3, 2001 – GlobalSign, a leading Trust Services Provider offering flexible outsourced PKI-solutions and certification services for e- and m-business, and Valimo Wireless Ltd, a Finnish security software company announced today a strategic partnership agreement.

Valimo Wireless specializes in developing software for authentication systems to secure and perform transactions with mobile devices. Valimo has developed a validation platform, Valimo Validator, which integrates mobile devices to financial, billing and authentication systems. Validator combined with GlobalSign’s expertise in m-commerce will allow both companies to approach the market together and offer a business-critical solution for developing m-commerce.
