Valimo and Entirem begin co-operation
Companies target emerging wireless financial services market.

May 2, 2001 - Finnish security software company Valimo Wireless and mobile transaction solutions provider Entirem today announced having signed a marketing co-operation agreement. The companies target the emerging European wireless wealth management market, which includes for example financial and stock brokering services.

Entirem develops mobile financial transactions software. Its main product, Entirem Transaction Platform (ETP) is the first WAP brokerage system which enables financial companies and portals to offer personalized and secure services for comprehensive wealth management.

Valimo specializes in developing software for authentication systems to secure and perform transactions with mobile devices. The company´s Validator software product is a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solution. It provides strong network security, guaranteeing the confidentiality of information and preventing unauthorized access to the information.

For Valimo, the cooperation with Entirem signifies a breakthrough in both financial security and international authentication software markets. The company was founded in 2000, and its potential customers include especially mobile operators, certifying authorities and large corporations who want to offer strong security and authentication to their end user services.
