Mobile identity in Finland

Finland will be providing mobile identity and PKI-based authentication for all mobile phone users. This opens up great potential for mobile commerce and taking care of official business. How can businesses take advantage of this new development and how can mobile developers help them? Pekka Jelek�inen of The Population Register Centre and Samu Konttinen of Valimo will explain the merits and possibilities of unified mobile authentication. Mobile horse betting will also be demonstrated at the meeting. Ilmari Halinen and Pertti Koskenniemi of Fintoto will present the new service.

The January 12th MobileMonday meeting is free and open to all interested. It will start at 18 o'clock at Ravintola Teatteri in Helsinki.
