Valimo Acquires UniqMinds

Combination optimizes user experience around mobile phone-based strong authentication and digital signatures

Helsinki, Finland February 9th 2006 - Valimo Wireless today announced that it has acquired UniqMinds, a mobile messaging technology company. The terms of the deal are not disclosed. The acquisition strengthens Valimo’s market-leading product offering in strong authentication and mobile signature service provisioning by enabling dramatic improvements in both user experience and service delivery.

UniqMinds’ PEAKm mobile messaging and multimedia products are used for achieving high-capacity MMS and SMS delivery and creation of superior mobile messaging experience. PEAKm technology can either be used as an end product – as in the PEAKm MMS and SMS Direct application in person to person delivery platforms as used by European mobile operators today – or as embedded technology to improve the performance of most any service requiring high performance messaging.
