Governmental Computer Center - Finland

The highest organization of Finnish governmental IT-development, serving all 17 Ministries of Finland. The Governmental Computer Center provides authentication services for all government departments in Finland.

Valimo’s products, such as Valimo Validator and Valimo iD Server, are playing significant role in developing strong mobile authentication. The Governmental Computer Center is the supreme authority in Finland for setting national regulation of used technologies and processes.

Ministry of Telecoms and Transportation - Finland  

The ministry is in charge of legislation work related to Telecom environment. 

Valimo Wireless Oy has completed several consulting projects in the years 2003-2005 for making grounds for legislation work. One of the areas has been a report on strong user identification methods, including biometrics. 

Valimo has produced for the ministry’s ArviD-program, a study of electronic payments and identification solutions for interactive digital cable television networks.
